The Brockway
Reading Circle
The Brockway Reading Circle is
an adult book club that meets one Thursday every
month at 6:00 pm. at the library. The group reads one book each month
and meets to discuss and share their thoughts. The club reads a
variety of literature including bestselling fiction, mysteries, and
historical / cultural fiction as a few examples. For more information,

The Brockway
Reading Circle is currently reading: Hotel
on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, by Jamie Ford
The next Meeting will be on Thursday,
March 11, at 6:00 pm. at the library.
The Garden
Club of Miami Shores
The
new library garden club meets once a month on the second Saturday of the month at 10:30
a.m. at the Brockway Memorial Library. We will also be meeting at other places
in the area. Our meetings will generally consist of a presentation based upon
the monthly topic(s), a plant exchange (which will enable us to learn about
different plants and what’s growing in each member’s garden), information on the
“plant of the month”, and sharing of gardening tips and inspiration over coffee
and refreshments.

Shores is open to all residents of Miami Shores and neighboring communities.
